Research Cell is established to promote research activities of COER campus. The cell will monitor and administer Research Programs of M.Tech (By Research) / Ph.D offered by the university. The Research and Development Cell is assisted by a team of experienced and qualified members to undertake Research and Development work. An active and healthy interaction between the institute and the industries is ensured through the following:-

* Department of Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering are working under R & D cell COER as per the industries' requirement.
*  Many scholars are engaged in research, leading to Ph.D. M.Tech. (By Research) degrees. Several R & D projects funded by AICTE, UGC, UTU and other universtites have been completed and some are being executed.

At COER, Research Activities are undergoing with a Team of reputed and well qualified faculties. We have different departments and respective faculties in those departments that are monitoring the research work. In each department we have a coordinator and a team of 3-5 faculties to monitor the research work. A lot of projects are undergoing at present in the COER in each department.
