Research Cell is established to promote research activities of COER campus. The cell will monitor and administer Research Programs of M.Tech (By Research) / Ph.D offered by the university. The Research and Development Cell is assisted by a team of experienced and qualified members to undertake Research and Development work. An active and healthy interaction between the institute and the industries is ensured through the following:-

Department of Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering are working under R & D cell by COER as per the industries requirement.

Many scholars are engaged in research, leading to Ph.D. and M.Tech. (By Research) degrees. Several funded R & D projects funded by AICTE, UGC, UTU and other universtites have been completed and some are being executed
