COER-School of Management is one of the most prestigious wings of College of Engineering Roorkee. After having 7 years of experience in technical   education, COER forayed into management field with establishment of COER School of management in August 2006 within COER campus. The mission of COER- School of management rests on following pillars: “excellence in teaching, learning, and use of latest technology dedicated towards imparting professionalism and moral and social values.” The objective of the institute is to make our students become leaders in their fields, in their professions, and in their communities. COER School of Management provide its students the world class facilities like 24 hrs WI-Fi internet,  E-Journals and also it has a huge library with a big volume of books. Along with the central library with more than 10000 books COER- School of management also has a departmental library bearing more than 3500 books, more than 30 national and international journals and free access to e-journals which consists of more than 200 journals in different disciplines of management. Along with a multi – faceted campus to go with, a large number of up-to date computers, strong network with LAN facilities adds a different dimension to the computer center .This is in sync with student’s requirements for the development and eventual success. The software information data mechanization in the centre also helps a lot for the students to realize their potential future towards better studies and future growth.

To keep pace up with the modern day environment COER School of management regularly conducts workshops and seminars for the betterment of her Faculty and students. Experts from corporate like Mr Alok Aggrawal from Polar industries, Dr Rangnekar From IIT Roorkee, Dr A.K sharma From IITR , Dr Pankaj Gupta IMT Ghaziabad, Mr Y S Negi GM SCM Subros Ltd , Mr. Alok Sharma DIG Haridwar and many more have spared us few hours from there valuable time in session 2008-2009 to keep us up to the mark with the modern day industry. A one day seminar was conducted on the emerging topic of Corporate Social Responsibility which was a huge success.  Moreover CoerSmians regularly visit various industries to keep the knowledge up-to-date with the corporate world. Managers have visited a number of industries to name a few is BHEL , Asahi Glass , cello industries , ITC , Anchor industries and various others.

COERSMians have been undergoing training at leading corporate houses, R & D organizations, and public undertakings to private sector MNCs. Some of them being BHEL, ONGC, Tata etc. a large number of COER management graduates have been placed in some leading companies namely: IBM, HLL, BAJAJ AUTO, UNION WATCHES, ICICI BANK , ICICI PRUDENTIAL , VODAFONE , IDBI , HDFC STANDARD LIFE , BAJAJ ALLIANZ , INDIA MART, ITC, VODAFONE , RELIANCE, ACCENTURE and several others.
