The Department of Information Technology was established with a vision to develop quality engineers to meet the current trends in the emerging world of IT. It is not based on an individual intelligence, but on the interacting intelligence of many". We have well experienced faculty members to impart knowledge to the students about the latest technologies in IT field. The IT lab is well equipped with Windows 2003 Professional & Advanced server and other necessary software.
The Department of Information Technology, with its dedicated body of well-qualified faculty, technical staff and students, is committed to be an international, multi-disciplinary center of excellence in Information Technology through education and research.

The objective of Computer science and Engineering Department is to equip students with latest skills in the field of technologies supplemented with Practical Orientation to face challenges of modern computing industry.
We at College of Engineering Roorkee instruct futuristic technical education and install high patterns of discipline through our dedicated faculties who shall set global standards. Making our students technically superior and ethically strong, who in turn shall advance the quality of life. To promote Research and Development in the frontier areas of Information Technology. To generate competent professionals to become part of the industry and research organizations at the national levels.
