The Civil Engineering Department is one among the newest departments in the Non-Grant engineering institution in the state of Uttrakhand. The department is having qualified and dedicated staff members in diversified field of specialization. The department offers electives in advanced subjects vice GIS, FEM, Repair and Rehabilitation of Structure and Pre-fabricated Structures.
It has infrastructural facilities for carrying out various tests on all building materials, Soil and Waters samples. As an exemplary center, the department offers extensive consultancy services like topographical survey including contouring, analysis and design of concrete and steel structures, Water sample analysis and building materials testing for many private, state and central government organization.

The objective of Civil Engineering Department is to produce Competent, disciplined quality Engineers and administrators through service par excellence, to accomplish the department as the center of excellence in civil engineering education shaping the youth into prosperous civil Engineers to make India a major industrial power. Here we want to make the department, the highest seat of learning, preparing men women with a strong conceptual foundation coupled with practical insight to meet the global business changes. and to develop conducive educational environment where students can reach their full potential in civil engineering discipline and to produce exemplary professional civil engineers of high ethics.
