Ashish Bansal, student of B.Tech IV Year (EN) presented a research paper at National Conference on the subject Electrical Drives at IISC Bangalore. The topic was based on “Motor Designing” name ANUP ROTOR. This design has been accepted by Ford Motor, USA. The designed engine named “ANUPC 1000” by R&D department of the automobile company. The formal launching of this design was held at Mumbai Office. The company has paid an amount of 5 lacs U.S Dollar to Ashish Bansal for the design. |
In 2011 COERians performed extremely well in GATE 2011. More than 9 students got more than 99 percentile marks and approximately 35 students cleared Gate Exam 2011. In previous years also, COERians had doen very well. In GATE-2010, 29 COERians qualified. Similarly in CAT- 10 COERians qualified with more than 90 percentile wherein Vaibhav Agarwal (CS-Final Year) had 98.4 percentile. Not only these examinations but to pursue higher studies abroad had a large number of COERians appeared at the GRE. The top scorer being Yash Vardhan Pant (ET-Final Year) with 1520 score. |
Dr. Gopal Ranjan, DG COER has been conferred Eminent Educationist Award in 2011. He has been the recipient of Rashtriya Vidya Samman Puruskar also in 2011 by the President of Economic Growth Society of India. |
