College of Engineering Roorkee (COER) is located at Roorkee. The town of Roorkee located on the national highway (NH-58) about 180 km north of Delhi, the capital of india is known as the gateway to the Himalayan Ranges. Roorkee is well connected by rail and road from Delhi. There are frequent bus service to Roorkee from Delhi. Rail connections to Roorkee is on Howrah-Amritsar and Delhi-Dehradun Railway Lines. The Coer campus situated on NH-58, just 7 km from Roorkee offers an enchanting site with 75 acres of lush green pollution free atmosphere. Affiliated to UP Technical University, Uttarakhand Technical University and recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), the campus provides an enchanting site on the busy highway that catches the eye of every passerby.
The COER campus is meticulously planned. The infrastructure and the academicians are providing the best of inputs for education and extra curricular activities. The campus is well equipped with well-planned buildings, Laboratories, Computer Centre, Library, Hostels, Auditorium, and Student Centre as well as Sports Complex.
To boost up the talents of the students and develop personality, public speaking, special lectures, seminars, panel discussions and sports activities are carried out from time to time. COER provides full security to her students. The lush green gardens, and a blend of Gulmohar, Neem, Arjun and bottle palm have privileged the campus with a pollution free environment.

- 100% result in all subjects.
- At least 30% placement in each discipline in every academic year.
- Minimum 66% marks to be secured by every student.
- Publication of minimum 5 research papers in every academic year.
- Minimum 12 industrial visits in every academic year.
Dissemination & Implementation of Quality Policy
The Quality Policy and its objectives are being disseminated to every employee of COER through the following steps.
- Orientation Programmes: At the beginning of the academic session, the orientation programmes are arranged for the students and faculty so that they are clearly apprised of the aims and objectives of COER as defined in the Quality Policy.
- Dissemination Posters: A number of posters have been prepared and displayed at prominent locations in the COER campus, in academic blocks, laboratories, Library, Computer Centre, Workshop and administrative block
